.Net Developer 

(Remote) to maintain and enhance current systems and well as develop additional web-based applications. Duties include upkeep of information systems by designing, developing, installing, maintaining and supporting ERP solutions. The .NET Developer role is to assist in the design, execution, assessment, and troubleshooting of software programs and custom applications. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Collaborate with analysts and designers in the development and maintenance software programs and applications. 

  • Create and maintain documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. 

  • Support internal applications throughout their lifecycle including custom development and maintenance. 

  • Develop, translate, and code software programs and applications according to business requirements. 

  • Perform unit testing, debug and review of code and related documentation as required by project. 

  • Applications developed must support web browsers, IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. 

  • Assures completion of all assigned projects within project guidelines and that the results are consistent high quality that meet business needs. 

  • Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging. 

  • Collaborate with network engineers, administrators, systems analysts, database analysts, and other staff to resolve any defects in software. 

  • Develop software solutions by studying user’s needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle. 

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and SQL query. 

  • Update knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, and development techniques, participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Technically fluent in developer’s languages, specifically .NET, MVC, VB, and proficient in the design and implementation of web-based applications, websites, mobile-friendly websites and mobile applications development. 

  • 3-5 years’ experience designing, developing and supporting web-based applications in a large environment. 

  • 3-5 years’ experience with developmental Agile Lifecycle methodologies, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). 

  • 3-5 years’ implementation experience of Object-oriented design patterns of enterprise architecture. 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in development using ASP.Net Framework 4.0 or later, REST API 

  • Experience with React.js, Postman, and PowerShell scripting. 

  • Strong experience with ASP.Net/Web services, XML, XSLT, Java script, Ajax, jQuery, ADO.NET, MS Model View Controller (MVC). 

  • Understands application, network security principles and web security including OWASP 

  • Experience with SharePoint 2019, extensive knowledge of IIS, HTML/CSS. 

  • Intermediate level knowledge of database, MS operating systems experience with MS SQL Server 2019  

  • Extensive knowledge with reporting tools such as SQL reporting service or any .NET reporting tools 

  • Hands-on software troubleshooting, researching and problem resolution experience. 

  • Well organized able to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous tasks and projects while addressing customer needs. 

  • Self-motivated ability to think out of the box, including working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential, attention to detail, prioritizing tasks. 

  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer service skills. 

  • Knowledge of applicable PII privacy practices and federal guidelines. 

 Education & Experience: 

  • Clearable for Public Trust 

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science required 

  • Knowledge of MS SQL 2019    

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Institute

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.

To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.
