Job description

About the Role

At WEO Marketly, the Account Manager is the heartbeat of the client relationship. You are the person clients count on to keep things moving, to tell them what is happening, and to make sure the work being done on their behalf is actually working. You sit at the center of a pod that includes an SEO team, a web developer, and a content coordinator, and you work closely with that team every day to make sure your shared clients are getting the best possible experience.

This is not a sales role, but it is not a passive one either. You are proactive, organized, and genuinely curious about your clients' businesses. You know how to work through a problem when the answer is not obvious, and you know when to bring someone else in. If you are the kind of person who spots issues before they become crises and gets energy from building real relationships, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a set book of dental marketing clients, owning their experience from onboarding through ongoing account management.
  • Lead a smooth client onboarding process, from the welcome call through connecting the right internal teams and making sure everything kicks off without a hitch.
  • Work as an active member of a pod that includes an SEO team, a web developer, and a content coordinator, collaborating closely on shared accounts and keeping everyone aligned.
  • Coordinate edit requests and project activity across internal teams, including teams outside your pod when the work calls for it, and keep clients informed every step of the way.
  • Run reporting calls on a cadence aligned with each client's services, translating data into clear, meaningful conversation.
  • Stay on top of client health, spotting wins and dips worth acting on and bringing the right people in early before small issues become bigger ones.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our full product and service offering so you can consult accurately, set the right expectations, and flag any gaps between what was sold and what is being delivered.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and loop in our Inside Sales team with the context they need to have a productive conversation.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communicator, in writing and on calls, who can build real trust with clients and keep internal teams informed without missing a beat.
  • Organized and able to manage a high volume of accounts and moving parts without things falling through the gaps.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and solving problems collaboratively rather than waiting for everything to be perfectly mapped out.
  • Proactive by nature, the kind of person who surfaces issues early rather than hoping they resolve on their own.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for client success and a team-first approach to getting there.
  • Comfortable working with CRM, project management, and communication tools, and able to pick up new technology quickly.
  • Background in account management, client services, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a marketing agency is a plus.
  • Experience in dentistry or the dental industry is preferred.

Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried exempt position (with the exception of CA and WA). Compensation range is between $50,000 $55,000  depending on experience and skill level. Quarterly bonus compensation is available based on department and company performance.

Benefits

  •  401k with employer direct contribution
  •  Healthcare and dental coverage
  •  Flexible paid time off
  •  Paid sick leave
  •  Paid volunteer hours
  •  Several paid holidays
  •  Monthly technology reimbursement
  •  Home office reimbursement upon hiring
  •  Quarterly bonus eligibility

Location

This is a fully remote position. We are currently able to employ W2 team members residing in the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Texas, Alabama, Virginia, and Florida.

Equal Opportunity Employer

WEO Marketly provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, results of genetic testing, or military service. We are not currently sponsoring work visas. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

About WEO Marketly

WEO Marketly is a full-service dental marketing agency formed through the merger of WEO Media and Marketly Digital. We help dental practices across North America grow, retain patients, and build their brand through smart, results-driven marketing. We are a fully remote team with members spanning the globe, and we take our culture of connection, collaboration, and heart-first work seriously. If you are looking for a place where your work genuinely matters and your team has your back, you are in the right place.
