What are Volunteer Tech roles?

Volunteer Tech roles involve providing technical support and expertise to non-profit organizations, community groups, or causes, often on a volunteer basis. Individuals in these positions may help with website development, IT troubleshooting, software training, data management, or digital marketing. Volunteer Techs use their technical skills to help organizations improve their operations and reach their goals, often working remotely or on-site. These roles are ideal for those who want to give back to the community while gaining practical tech experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Volunteer Tech?

To thrive as a Volunteer Tech, you need basic technical proficiency, troubleshooting abilities, and an understanding of computer hardware or software, often gained through coursework or hands-on experience.
