Harmony Hospice Care is looking to hire an experienced Volunteer Coordinator for Beachwood and surrounding areas

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Establish a need for volunteer services and maintain monthly statistics

  • Maintain volunteer training and orientation

  • Supervise and evaluate volunteers and maintain current personnel files

  • Provide information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer services

  • Participate in interdisciplinary group meetings

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • College degree, advanced degree in human services preferred

  • 2+ years experience in healthcare

  • Hospice and/or volunteer experience preferred

  • Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care

  • Ability to organize and develop volunteer hospice personnel

M-F 8-4:30
