Retail Web Technologies builds high-impact, client-facing trading applications used by millions of Schwab clients. In this role, you’ll contribute to reliable, secure, and scalable web experiences by designing, building, testing, and supporting full-stack application components, Web APIs, and RESTful services. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to translate priorities into thoughtful technical solutions, using strong problem solving, decision-making, and communication to balance client impact, quality, and delivery.

You’ll work in an Agile environment where craftsmanship, curiosity, and adaptability are valued. Your contributions will help improve release reliability through automated testing and DevOps practices, strengthen production health through troubleshooting and performance insights, and support product decisions through meaningful metrics and observability. This is an opportunity to grow your technical skills while helping deliver trading experiences that make a measurable impact for clients and the business.

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with experience in Angular, .NET, REST APIs, and cloud-native technologies who is excited about leveraging AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and automation to build the next generation of digital investing experiences.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience developing web applications using HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related front-end technologies
  • Experience with .Net/C# or similar backend object-oriented programming languages to support Backend Development and API delivery
  • Experience designing, building, or maintaining REST APIs and JSON-based integrations
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and apply Unit Testing to improve software quality
  • Ability to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, release, and production support
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, make sound decisions, and support reliable client-facing applications
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders through clear Communication and shared ownership of outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum team environments
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including automated testing, CI/CD concepts, and reliable release processes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or Cloud Services Management
  • Experience applying Performance Metrics or Metrics Analysis to understand application health, product usage, or release quality
  • Experience with financial services, trading applications, or client-facing digital platforms
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to quality, security, scalability, and client impact

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
