Job description

As a ML Software Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced hardware engineers to build and deploy AI/ML models that improve circuits and systems design workflows, and help push new hardware innovations forward.
We are looking for motivated problem solvers with strong machine learning and software development skills, with an interest in applying AI to complex technical challenges at the intersection of software and hardware design. Join our collaborative and innovative team as we work to transform the future of circuit design.


Responsibilities
As our ML software engineer your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, building, training, and evaluating machine learning models that support circuit design workflows.
  • Developing models for circuit performance prediction, design-space optimization, and simulation acceleration.
  • Building data pipelines and model-training workflows using simulation results, measurement data, circuit parameters, and design constraints.
  • Working with a cross-functional team to understand model requirements and translate engineering needs into ML solutions.
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports.
  • Participating in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions.

We are considering full-time/ part-time applicants for Summer and Fall 2026.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical competency, curiosity, and the ability to take ownership of a well-defined project. They should also be excited to adapt, learn quickly, and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python with experience in scripting and automation.
  • familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, code organization, and collaborative development practices.
  • Experience with data processing libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
