Job description

Top Shelf Manufacturing, LLC. was established in 2002 and is a leading manufacturer of sports medicine and rehabilitative products. We provide our products primarily through distributors positioned throughout the US. We are dedicated to the advancement of patient care through quality products, excellent service and product technology.
We have an immediate opportunity to join our growing company in our Sewing department. We are currently seeking a regular full-time Sewing Machine Operator. This individual is responsible for sewing and assembling products using approved samples, Bills of Materials (BOMs), detailed manufacturing instructions, and established quality assurance standards.
Job Duties
โ€ข Use a variety of sewing machines to assemble products. Perform operator adjustments for proper stitch (tension, stitch length, speed).
โ€ข Follow written instructions for each product. Training will be provided as required.
โ€ข Check quality through process.
โ€ข Use other production equipment as required. Training will be provided as required.
Job Requirements
โ€ข Simple sewing test will be performed to demonstrate sewing skills/ability.
โ€ข Maintain quality workmanship.
โ€ข Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
โ€ข Maintain productivity level expectations.
โ€ข Ability to learn products with verbal and visual instructions.
โ€ข Ability to read English is preferred but not necessary.
โ€ข Prolonged sitting/standing for up to 7.5 hrs/day.
โ€ข Warehouse environment.
โ€ข Standard work hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm. Monday-Friday.
โ€ข Overtime and weekends as required.
โ€ข Must be able to read a ruler/scale down to 1/16".
โ€ข Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs.
โ€ข Perform duties in a safe manner.
โ€ข Willingness to help where needed.
โ€ข Follow all company Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.
โ€ข Reports to: Sewing Lead.
Candidates that apply must be hard working, self-motivated, reliable, team player, possess strong work ethic and able to learn and work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Only those with the ability to meet these expectations should apply. The final candidate will submit to a detailed background check.
Hourly Rate Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.60
โ€ข Annual Range ($35,360.00 to $42,848.00)
O/T Rate Pay Range: $25.50 to $30.90
โ€ข Example of Annual O/T Range (5 to 10 hours per week @ 50 weeks range $6,375.00 - $15,450.00)
โ€ข Note: Abundance of O/T Available
Bonus Opportunity: Production Bonus: $0 to $200 per month (increases hourly rate up to $1.15 per hour or up $2,400.00 per year)
All Full-Time positions offer the following: Medical, Dental, Vision, ER paid Life for Employee, Voluntary benefits, Medical FSA, Dependent FSA, HSA, 401k, and Financial Wellness planning.
Additional Benefits for Full-Time Employees (3 to 4 weeks of Paid Time Off)
Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year
Vacation Benefit: At completion of 3-month introductory period, vacation accrual up to an annual max of 40 hours in the first 23 months, at 24 months, accrual up to an annual max of 80 hours with a rollover balance.
Sick Benefit: Sick accrual begins upon date of hire up to a max annual accrual of 80 hours with a max usage of 48 hours annually with a rollover balance.
