Responsibilities
  • Support an environment that reinforces Rebound’s mission and Core Values of Superior Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Recognition .
  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and align with business strategic goals and objectives.
  • Understand, follow, and provide consultative services and direction on Human Resources policies, procedures and programs.
  • Manage various audits to ensure accurate and up to date information is in HRIS.
  • Take the lead on ad hoc projects as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate positive and successful interactions and interpersonal relations so that productivity and positive employee relations are maximized.
  • Support recruitment effort for all personnel.
  • Support onboarding all new employees with various tasks as needed.
  • Oversight of monthly HR newsletter to employees.
  • Assist in the facilitation and preparation of onboarding newly hired employees. Manage and lead new hire orientation.
  • Assist and take the lead in employee engagement initiatives, such as employee recognition events, etc.
  • Scan and file all employee documentation in employee file. Keep all employee information secure.
  • Update and post company‑wide compliance posters in accordance with state and federal legislation.
  • Furnish employee information to authorized persons and assist employees on matters regarding personnel forms, records and procedures.
  • Demonstrate trustworthiness, model professional boundaries, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Committed to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Accurately maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database.
  • Keep department HR manual updated with current processes.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree preferred, or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • PHR or SHRM Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, healthcare experience is preferred. Super‑user experience with managing an HRIS (ADP preferred), recruiting software and creating reports.
  • General knowledge of employment law and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data and information.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently.
Typical Physical Demands

Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods.

Typical Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office environment. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
