What will you contribute?

Reporting to a ProgramManager, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of large to moderately complex projects within a defined segment of strategic initiatives, from project definition and intake through transition to full operational support.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Drives the overall strategic direction of the project, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy from both internal and client perspectives.

  • Establishes project- level success criteria with both the client and internal stakeholders, and leads the projectproject intake process, including development of scope, schedule, and cost estimates.

  • Defines project goals and objectives,project and establishes individual team members' roles and responsibilities for the duration of the project.

  • Manages one or more large-scale projects,projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while delivering solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Manages daily and weekly project team assignments, monitoring progress against the work plan to ensure objectives are met within established time, cost, and quality parameters.

  • Identifies and analyzes the impact of potential project changes, and facilitates change control board decisions to approve or reject those changes.

  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing and maintaining the projectproject budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as needed.

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency, quality, and predictability by leveraging. Leveraging AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights.

  • Manages prioritization across concurrent projects, continuously identifying, qualifying,project and tracking risks; defining mitigation and contingency plans; assigning appropriate resources; and communicating status.

  • Identifies resource requirements and communicates them in a timely manner to ensure the project is properly staffed with the required skills.

  • Identifies internal and external stakeholders, understands their communication requirements, and ensures those requirements are fulfilled.

  • Ensures a smooth transition through each project phase by facilitating effective communication across responsible groups, setting clear expectations, and holding individuals accountable for their project responsibilities.project

  • Serves as the primary interface with the bank project manager to ensure objectives and customer-focused requirements are clearly defined and aligned with company direction.

  • Educates team members on project management principles, methods, processes, and tools.

  • Maintains current knowledge of project management skills and practices, and ensures relevant information is shared throughout the process.

  • Ensures the project team uses IT-defined tools, standards, processes, and procedures.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Extensive Project Management experience

  • Proven experience leading technical and non-technical resources.

  • Experience managing large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $5MM; global-scale experience and Tier 1 client experience preferred.

  • PMP certification preferred; Agile certification such as CSM, ACP, or SAFe preferred.
