What will you contribute?
Reporting to a ProgramManager, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of large to moderately complex projects within a defined segment of strategic initiatives, from project definition and intake through transition to full operational support.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Establishes project- level success criteria with both the client and internal stakeholders, and leads the projectproject intake process, including development of scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
Manages daily and weekly project team assignments, monitoring progress against the work plan to ensure objectives are met within established time, cost, and quality parameters.
Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing and maintaining the projectproject budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
Manages prioritization across concurrent projects, continuously identifying, qualifying,project and tracking risks; defining mitigation and contingency plans; assigning appropriate resources; and communicating status.
Ensures a smooth transition through each project phase by facilitating effective communication across responsible groups, setting clear expectations, and holding individuals accountable for their project responsibilities.project
