POSITION OVERVIEW


The Senior Business Advisor, Operations delivers both standard and customized advisory projects within the Operations practice. The role focuses on providing professional, high-impact solutions that help entrepreneurs improve performance and grow their businesses.

As a trusted advisor, you will manage project delivery, provide subject matter expertise, support business development activities, and contribute to the evolution and promotion of our service offerings.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET


Project Delivery

  • Lead and deliver standard and customized advisory mandates.
  • Provide impactful solutions in areas such as:
    • Operations assessments
    • Plant layout optimization
    • Business process optimization
  • Ensure high-quality client outcomes that support business growth.

Project Management

  • Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and objectives.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of project work and deliverables.
  • Apply project management best practices to ensure successful delivery.

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as a recognized expert in operational efficiency.
  • Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, and operational best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of advisory solutions and tools.

Business Development & Sales Support

  • Support sales activities by:
    • Conducting client needs assessments
    • Providing input into customized proposals
  • Work closely with Client Partners to transfer knowledge, deliver projects, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in outreach and marketing initiatives to promote the practice's offerings.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Operations Management
    • Or a related field
  • MBA or relevant professional designation is considered an asset.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of consulting experience, ideally within a consulting firm.
  • Strong background in:
    • Operational efficiency
    • Operations optimization
    • Lean methodologies
    • Six Sigma practices

Technical Knowledge

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Operations Digitization and AI
  • Robotics and Automation
  • ERP, MES, MWS, and other operations management systems
