While the majority of our employees are hybrid, the following classifications drive our current minimum onsite requirements:

In this role,you'llhelp develop reliable programs, databases, interfaces, and reporting solutions that support internal and external customers.

What to Expect

This is a hybrid work opportunity for Arizona residents.In this full-time role, you willmaintainand develop systems and programs,participatein the Systems Development Life Cycle, support documentation, create reports, troubleshoot processing issues, and partner with stakeholders across IT and business areas. You will have the flexibility to work remotely 4 days a week and spend 1 day a week at our award-winning healthy campus in Phoenix. The in-office requirements are subject to change based on organizationalneed.

As a Developer - Medicaid Core Applications,you'llget to:

  • Maintain and developbasic tocomplex systems, programs, databases, and interfaces usingappropriate structuredprogramming techniques and programming languages.

  • Participate in the development, review, and creation of documentation used to support associated systems.

  • Create logic, system, and program flows; write and execute unit test plans; and track and resolve processing issues.

  • Participate in all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle, including code and system reviews for proper design standards, content, and functionality.

  • Analyze files and map data from one system to another while following established source control versioning policies and procedures.

  • Create ad hoc reports for internal and external customers and respond to research questions or requests from internal customers.

  • Participate in or lead projects, including developing time and cost estimates,modificationschedules, presentations, and implementation support.

  • Independentlymaintainand develop complex systems and programs at senior levels, while mentoring and reviewing work for junior developers.

  • Support technology planning, project prioritization, training materials, workflows, manuals, and implementation of new procedures.

  • For Level 2 and Level 3 roles assigned SCRUM responsibilities,facilitatesprint planning, retrospectives, demos, backlog support, cross-team coordination, and team performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED in a general field of studyrequiredfor all levels.

  • Experience in computer/information technology: Level 1: 1 year; Level 2: 3 years; Level 3: 5 years; Level 4: 7 years.

  • Experience in programming, query design, and database development: Level 2: 1 year; Level 3: 3 years; Level 4: 4 years.

  • Project management experience: Level 3: 1 year; Level 4: 3 years.

  • Required technical skills include T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, .NET Framework, EDI, and Git/version control capabilities.

  • Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making, issue resolution, communication, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.

  • Preferred healthcare domain experience,AIand QNXT
