Job description

Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Program Manager in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $95k-$160k (depending on experience)

The Program Manager leads overall program execution, overseeing cost, schedule, performance, and risk across all task areas supporting global LVC environments.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead end-to-end program execution across all SOW task areas.
  • Manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk at the program level.
  • Oversee PMRs, reporting, and contract deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD/Navy policies and contractual requirements.
  • Direct workforce planning, staffing, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive strategic planning, continuous improvement, and mission success.
  • Other duties as assigned or required. 

Requirements

Required:

  • 12+ years of experience in program/project management or related field. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Experience managing or supporting complex IT or engineering programs/projects. 
  • Knowledge of project management principles (cost, schedule, risk). 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, DAWIA PM).

Desired:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs. 
  • Familiarity with EVM and program reporting. 
  • Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Excel, Power BI).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments. 

Security Clearance:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
