Job description

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of recreational programs for children.ย  Leaders will supervise children and maintain an environment that is safe and inclusive.

After School Position, will be working in our school age room at Mariposa Elementary school.

Hours: 3:15pm-6:00pm. 2.75 -13.75 Hours per week.

Qualifications:ย 
  • Criminal Reference Check (18+ years of age) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (19+ years of age) in accordance with the Police Record Checks Reform Act (PRCRA). Applications can be completed online through your local Police station.
  • Must have valid Standard First Aid and CPR C (or willingness to acquire)
  • HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (or willingness to acquire)
  • Must be 16+ years of age
  • Experience working or volunteering with children aged 4 to 12 years
  • Available during after school hours Monday to Friday
