Are you a dedicated RN ready to make a meaningful impact in surgical care? Join our Surgical I – Post-op/Stepdown team at Novant Health NHRMC, where you'll care for patients recovering from emergency general surgeries, traumatic injuries, and complex post-operative procedures in a collaborative, supportive environment.
⭐ Enjoy a Consistent Fixed Night Shift Schedule!
Full-Time | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We know consistency matters. That's why we offer fixed schedules you'll work the same three nights every week with no rotating schedule.
Choose from one of these full-time options:
🗓️ Option 1: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday Nights
OR
🗓️ Option 2: Thursday, Friday & Saturday Nights

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from emergency general and trauma surgeries, as well as step-down level patients.

Care for patients with external fixators, complex wounds, and multi-system injuries.

Deliver expert nursing care in a high-acuity post-operative setting that goes beyond traditional Medical-Surgical nursing.

Utilize advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to support positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Current North Carolina RN license or Multi-State Compact License required.
