Job description

At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with previous tutoring experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Stockton, CA! If you're committed to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs and helping them achieve academic success, we want to hear from you!

As an In-Home Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to a student in their home. You will be responsible for supporting the student with daily academic activities, offering encouragement, and delivering tailored instruction based on their individual learning needs.

Details:

  • In-Person Tutoring in Stockton, CA
  • Comfortable working with a college student
  • Comfortable with college level Calculus
  • Pay range is $35-$40 per hour (negotiable)
  • multiple tutoring sessions per week

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on caclculusconcepts and problem-solving.
  • Adapt materials, examples, and teaching methods to match the student's learning style and academic goals.
  • Track and document the student's progress, adjusting instruction as needed to reinforce understanding.
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any questions.
  • Create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages confidence and academic growth in calculus
