We are a Math Learning Center in Ladera Ranch, located in Southern California. We provide educational and tutoring services for students in elementary through high school math. Learn more on our and .

Position
This is a part time instructor role with flexible hours for teaching students from elementary through high school math.
Training is Provided.
Job TitleMathematics Instructor
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction/tutoring services for early elementary through high school math
  • Teach with the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Work with team members to provide an excellent experience for students
  • Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks

Qualifications
  • A passion for math and working with students from early elementary through high school math in the center
  • Confident and comfortable with math through Algebra 2
  • Complete a math instructor test to show knowledge of prerequisite math skills at the center
  • Preferred applicants are currently college students or graduates
  • Considered applicants are currently Junior and Senior High school students
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and willing to learn and be trained
  • Available and willing to commute to work within a 30 minute radius to the center at 1701 Corporate Dr., Ladera Ranch, CA 92694
  • Available and willing to work during center hours 2-7 pm for a minimum of 2 weekdays Mon-Thur, for a minimum of 3 hours
  • Available and willing to work through the 2025/2026 school year

Hourly Wage $18.00 to $25.00+ /hour(experience may increase starting pay)
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
