Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Event Logistics Coordinator to join our team in North Wilkesboro, NC. You can be a part of a highly professional North American Disaster Relief team. In this role, you will aid the Event Logistics Team in key administrative tasks. The coordinator will provide support to event and training logistics, and administrative tasks as needed. Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!
In the role of Event Logistics Coordinator,you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Provide support for registration for all event and training attendees. Monitor registration, answer attendee questions and handle all details regarding the registration process.
  • Responsible for administrative duties related to conferences and trainings including filing, copying, email and phone correspondence, data entry, organizing conference and volunteer materials, creating name tags, etc.
  • Ensure inventory is maintained on all items used for events and training.
  • Coordinate details on site for trainings and events, including registration and materials.
  • Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified in the job description.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as general knowledge of professional writing or creative writing.
  • Ability to follow verbal directions and produce documentation in a quick turnaround environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and professional talents.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
