MUSCOGEE ( CREEK) AND INDIAN PREFERENCE.
General Summary: The Mvskoke Language Instructor will provide instruction to the Mvskoke Language Speakers of all MCN Communities. The Hybrid Instructor will provide an appropriate in- person and virtual instructional learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential. The Hybrid Instructor is expected to facilitate in- person and online lessons for individual and small group settings to respond to the needs of students with varying interests and abilities. Key locations are for the Oklahoma City Resource Center and the MCN SRO- Holdenville location.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Must be able to provide Mvskoke language instruction for in- person and virtual activities for age and grade appropriate levels for Curriculum development, workbooks, and classroom materials.
2. Collaborate with teacher( s) in how to create lesson plans, participation in classes, offer pre and post- test information, and to share various teaching methods.
3. Must have the ability to provide written and oral reports, including monthly and quarterly reports, to the Program Manager.
4. Must be willing to excel in learning modern technology to access the language as it becomes available.
5. Must be willing to train for curriculum development, workbooks, and additional training as needed.
6. Must be willing to work as a team member with the staff on a daily basis. 7. Must be willing to participate in all activities involving language- immersion
camps, parades, and entities of the Muscogee Creek Nation. 8. Participation in the Intertribal activities and events as needed, State and
Tribal events.
9. Must be willing to meet with " Mvskoke Language Speakers Council" to gather and create new and old language terms for audio dictionaries and curriculum.

11. May plan and coordinate the work of instructional assistants and resource volunteers.

Minimum Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma/ GED, a Fluent Speaker, or a second language learner. Must be an enrolled member of the Muscogee Creek Nation. Must
have experience in Mvskoke language instruction; able to navigate online
teaching tools like Zoom enough to teach; if a fluent speaker of the Mvskoke Language, they must possess reading ability and writing ability or be willing to learn Mvskoke Language reading and writing skills; must have good oral and written communication skills. Must submit to pass all necessary background checks and drug testing.
Preferred Requirements: Associate' s degree in the education field and/ or experience in teaching the Mvskoke Language. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
