Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Remote
Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is NOT OPEN to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform strategic backlog into high-quality software, delivering real business value
  • Drive technical design options and write scalable, sustainable code (apex/soql/t-sql/javascript)
  • Work on an agile team focused on the INC (nCino) Salesforce platform with over 1700 users primarily for Sales Enablement and Loan Origination
  • Configure and operate the Salesforce org as a Salesforce and nCino developer
  • Develop and review code to uphold best practices, utilizing pair programming and code reviews
  • Leverage Test Driven Development with Quality Engineers for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Utilize developer tools such as source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and AI technologies like GitHub Copilot
  • Participate in meetings with product owners and team members to ensure shared understanding
  • Stay updated on Salesforce and nCino releases, features, and industry best practices
  • Assist in integrating Salesforce with external systems via modern API and middleware technologies
  • Apply lean and agile principles to continuously improve team processes and deliverables

Requirements
  • 3+ years programming experience (JavaScript, Java, Apex, T-SQL, SOQL, Bash, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of source code repositories and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of clean architecture concepts and SOLID design principles
  • Experience with data integration patterns (batch or real-time)
  • Knowledge of domain-driven design concepts such as ubiquitous language, bounded contexts, and event storming
  • At least 1 year of experience with integrations (API, Data Loads, etc.)
  • Preferred: 6+ months working with AI technologies for coding and quality checks
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions for complex issues
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills to build relationships across departments
  • Willingness to adapt and support sprint goals with proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or 3-5 years of relevant experience
