Job Summary
The primary aim of an IT internship is to provide practical, hands-on experience, turning academic knowledge into valuable skills for a career in IT.
Under the direction of the Manager, the information technology (IT) intern will have the unique opportunity to gain in-depth experience in an IT department, evaluating current IT tech stack while proposing and implementing improvements for the current and future improvement of organizational technology needs. The IT interns will develop and utilize their critical thinking and project management skills to support tkMNA's software, programming, analytics, and data center management. The IT intern will have the opportunity to perform hands-on applications while developing their decision-making skills in planning, documentation, report writing and teamwork
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the IT team in documenting and maintaining software, and other technological systems.
  • Develop working relationships with IT specialists to provide and improve technology platforms
  • Assist with client and member-based inquiries and assist in building database queries for departments.
  • Participate in IT planning and executing meetings providing regular input and suggestions.
  • Assist in other projects as assigned.
  • Support/Shadow to Senior resources
  • Interact with team and help in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering (Junior or Senior year), computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Expert understanding of SDLC processes
  • Knowledge of integration platforms or middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, CPI....etc)
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure & AWS) and AI/ML skills
  • Basic knowledge of XML, Json formats, DB, APIs and programming (Java, Python and Scripts - coding, debugging and testing).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Strong communication (written & verbal), presentation and documentation skills.
  • Teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
