What is Multisystemic Therapy (MST)?

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) typically targets chronic, violent, or substance-abusing juvenile offender ages 12 through 17. MST’s home-based therapy design helps overcome barriers to service, increases family retention in treatment, allows for the provision of the intensive services (i.e., therapists have a maximum of 6 cases), and enhances the maintenance of successful behavior change.

Why Work with Us?

  • Life-Changing Work: Help individuals on parole rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities in meaningful ways.
  • Trauma-Informed Approach: CSI is committed to understanding and addressing trauma. You'll receive ongoing training to ensure you can support clients with care and compassion.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with the Program Director, MST Experts, and external stakeholders in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
  • Growth Opportunities: Expand your expertise with training, certification, and professional development options in a growing organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify presenting problems, strengths and systemic factors contributing to difficulties.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Multisystemic Therapy, incorporating relevant evidence-based interventions and strategies.
  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions to at-risk youth and their families, and collaborate with other key members.
  • Implement crisis management strategies as needed to address immediate safety concerns for clients and their families.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision training to enhance clinical skills and ensure fidelity to the MST model.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, including sessions notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and service providers involved in client’s ecosystem, including social services, schools, court, mental health agencies, etc.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Bachelor's Degree considered with experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes and possibly transport multiple clients at once.
  • Must live within a 90- minute travel time from the designated service area.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload while adhering to program requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and trauma-informed practice.

Benefits We Offer:

  • Generous Time Off: 2 weeks of vacation your first year (increasing to 3 weeks after 1 year), 7 days of sick time, and 4 floating holidays. Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and voluntary vision plans, plus FSA, short-term disability, accident insurance, hospital coverage, life insurance, and AD&D options.
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Automatic enrollment with a 100% company match up to 4%.
  • Professional Development: Tuition reimbursement after 1 year, plus ongoing training and opportunities for certification.
  • Mileage Reimbursement: We offer reimbursement for business-related travel at the current IRS rate to help cover your transportation costs.

Annual Salary: $50,000-55,000
