Project Engineer Intern โ€“ Arizona

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer Intern to join our team in Arizona. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects.
  • Learn construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.
  • Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
  • Develop a firstโ€‘hand understanding of jobโ€‘site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelorโ€™s degree in construction engineering/management or a closely related field.
  • Within 18 months of graduating.
  • Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a threeโ€‘month term.
  • Basic knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
Compensation

Hourly base pay range: $20โ€‘$25 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as location and the selected candidateโ€™s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or incentive program.
