Job description

You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NVSUPPACTMID SOUTH.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applied comprehensive knowledge of facility management principles, NAVFAC standards, and building codes to develop and execute long-range sustainment, restoration, and modernization plans for operational support centers; 2)Utilized analytical skills to conduct in-depth Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs), leveraging technical knowledge of facility management databases (e.g., Maximo) to document structural deficiencies and initiate corrective action packages; 3) Exercised technical skill in interpreting architectural and engineering (A&E) design drawings and blueprints to develop complete requirement packages, including accurate scoping and independent government cost estimates for Class I and II real property projects.
