Job description

Volunteer visits with patients in their homes, in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities or in one of our six hospital units throughout Palm Beach and Broward County. Visiting with our patients is an important part of their plan of care, bringing comfort, joy, and an improved quality of life. Be a friend, capture memories, hold a hand, read a book, play a game, take a walk. Run an errand or take the patient out for some fresh air! Stay with the patient allowing the caregiver to go to the store, to an appointment or just have some time away.

Volunteers are matched to patients based on geographic location and special interests that include Veteran to Veteran program and Jewish Outreach
