Job description

Job Title: Customer Support & eCommerce Specialist
Location: Iselin, NJ
Type of Employment: Temporary, 6 months (possibility of extension)
In Office/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid, 2 days a week in office
Salary: $25/hr - $28/hr based on years of experience
Job Summary:
LHH is partnering with a global manufacturing organization to hire a Customer Support & eCommerce Specialist. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and online account holders, supporting order management, product inquiries, customer issue resolution, and account maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Process, monitor, and maintain customer orders through online marketplaces and eCommerce channels.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, order status, account information, and general support needs.
  • Manage and support customer accounts for North American webstore operations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Investigate customer concerns, identify root causes, and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Document service issues, corrective actions, and resolutions accurately within company systems.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and other internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide product recommendations and technical guidance to help customers identify the best solutions for their needs.
  • Support departmental goals and key performance indicators through timely and accurate customer service.
  • Follow established company policies, procedures, and workflow requirements.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service or account support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Salesforce or CRM platform experience.
  • Previous eCommerce, marketplace, or online retail support experience.
  • Understanding of order processing and order-to-cash business functions.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
