Job description

Position Overview A Warehouse Coordinator will perform administrative tasks to coordinate, and support the functions of the distribution center including but not limited to the movement of merchandise, monitoring merchandise and verifying preparations involved in shipping merchandise. Essential Job FunctionsCoordinates appropriate times for pick up and releasing of orders and/or shipmentsMonitors product/merchandise logsDrops orders to trigger merchandise allocation and shipment of ordersVerify inventory so replenishment areas are well equippedDocument actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsMaintain databasesAnswers the telephone and answers questions and gives direction when neededRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of tasksOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation: High School or equivalentExperience: 0-4 years experience in the field or related areaSpecialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Experience with WMS a plus. Intermediate MS Office applications including word and excel
