They help businesses gather valuable insights about product performance, usability, and consumer preferences before products are widely released. These testers typically receive products for free, and in exchange, they are expected to use the items and complete surveys or reviews about their experiences. Their input helps companies improve products and make informed decisions about marketing and development. Participation is usually unpaid, but testers sometimes get to keep the products they test.
