Position Summary
Global Summary:
Applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Responsibilities typically include: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
Local Summary:
Performs laboratory experiments under supervision. Analyzes large bodies of data under supervision. Writes technical reports under supervision. This role supports the Data Operations team in understanding product performance and manufacturing processes. This typically begins with collecting and analyzing large bodies of data, developing hypotheses to explain these bodies of data, and conducting experiments to test these hypotheses. These activities generally drive changes to manufacturing processes to achieve better product performance and manufacturing throughput.
Primary Duties (Local)
  • Assists in the visualization of large bodies of data
  • Assists in the analysis of large bodies of data
  • Assists in designing laboratory experiments
  • Executes laboratory experiments
  • Writes technical reports under supervision
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Training
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university-degreed program and have a strong interest in biotechnology, biology, microbiology, and/or diagnostics.
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate students pursuing a Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering-related bachelor's degree are preferred.
  • Previous work experience in a laboratory setting or coursework with a laboratory component is desirable.
