Job description

Job Title - Contract Recruiter
Work Location - Cranbury, NJ - Hybrid 3 days
We are seeking a Contract Recruiter (3-6 months) with experience in the biologics, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry. This role will support full-cycle recruiting for specialized positions in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, the Sciences, and Business Development. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to quickly learn WuXi's dynamic environment, adapt to a growing culture, and build strong partnerships with hiring managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers for roles in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, the Sciences, and Business Development.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Source top talent through creative and strategic methods including LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate with HR and TA team members to ensure alignment with company hiring goals and timelines.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of recruiting experience in the biologics, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition for technical functions including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sciences, and Business Development.
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
