Location: Dothan, AL Department: Assembly Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: Starting at $17.55/hr

What You'll Do
We are looking for an Anodizing Operator to join our team in Dothan, AL. In this role, you will perform anodizing operations on aluminum parts used in the production of hose couplings and accessories. You'll be responsible for operating anodizing tanks, racking and un-racking parts, monitoring process conditions, and maintaining quality standards throughout the process. This is a hands-on, technical role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Rack and un-rack aluminum tanks and run parts through each stage of the process safety and efficiently.
  • Operate multiple anodizing tanks and run parts through each stage of the process safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain proper knowledge related to electrical amps and volts as they relate to anodizing.
  • Build and use simple work holding racks as needed for production.
  • Identify and report visible quality issues related to work holding, process variation, or part handling.
  • Maintain adequate anodizing supplies and notify management of shortages or equipment needs.
  • Keep an organized, clean, and orderly work area at all times.
  • Enter production data accurately into the EPICOR system or other required computer systems.

What We're Looking For
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written process documents.
  • Good time management skills and ability to keep pace in a fast-moving production environment.
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Work Environment
This is an active, hands-on manufacturing role. Team members work in an environment that may include exposure to fumes, oil, greases, and moving machine parts. Proper safety protocols and PPE are required. All team members are expected to comply with Puck's Health and Safety Policies.
