BRING DESIGNS TO LIFE | BECOME A FLOOR SUPPORT PRODUCTION ARTIST
THE OPPORTUNITY: At Lakeshirts, we're in the memory-making business-crafting bold designs for iconic gear people love to wear. We're looking for a Production Artist who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment to support our screenprint production floor. This onsite role is based at our Detroit Lakes, MN location and plays a key part in ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment across thousands of vibrant, adventure-inspired products.
You'll work hands-on with Adobe Illustrator, troubleshoot issues, and help organize digital files to meet our design standards. If you're detail oriented, love to collaborate, and are excited to support a team producing high-volume, high-quality apparel, you'll fit right in.
This role operates at the creative center of our production floor-so expect changing temperatures, constant communication, and the ability to handle multiple distractions throughout your day.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Onsite position in Detroit Lakes, MN)
PAY RANGE: $16-17/hr

JOB FUNCTIONS | Support + Problem-Solve + Collaborate
  • Review and prep artwork to meet screenprint standards using Adobe Illustrator
  • Identify screens that are missing or damaged and coordinate reburns as needed
  • Update designs and communicate production errors for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with leads and production teams to maintain high-quality output
  • Track and record inconsistencies to enhance Production Artist file readiness
  • Support daily workflow tasks including DTS sending, namedrop edits, and art proofs
  • Flex daily workload based on production schedule and department needs

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS | Tech-Savvy + Adaptable + Team-Oriented
  • 2- or 4-year Graphic Design degree required
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and strong with computer-based tasks
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple interruptions
  • Clear communicator with solid time management skills
  • Self-starter who enjoys collaborating and working cross-functionally
  • Must be reliable, flexible, and Comfortable working onsite in a production setting with temperature variation and interruptions
