JOB SUMMARY:

General job purpose is to provide oversight, guidance, and support as it relates to the Operations division. This includes partnering with all departments of Operations, delivering high quality customer service while providing strategic direction in the finance function at Universal Orlando. Additional aspect of job includes ensuring department deadlines are met and company policies are adhered to as well as identifying departmental process improvements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Completion of the month-end Finance duties for Resort Operations & Volcano Bay.
  • Provide direction and delegation of duties to direct reports, ensuring work is accurate and timely.
  • Provides accurate routine financial reports, including monthly Volcano Bay P&L's.
  • Work with management to build annual Volcano Bay & Resort Operation budgets and quarterly LE updates.
  • Documents applicable policies and procedures.
  • Attend meetings with Operational divisions, attend resort walks to understand the risks and opportunities for the division.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of relevant Finance experience required;
  • 3+ years supervisory experience preferred;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
