About the Company:

About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of our building systems and infrastructure
Core Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting
  • Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and ensure a safe working environment
  • Complete periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to the maintenance schedule.
  • Perform weekly and monthly inspections on different equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems; you will visually check, test, and evaluate the condition of components and equipment
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping
  • Perform all maintenance duties, such as PM dock equipment, PM air conditioners, repair restroom fixtures, and maintenance of all buildings.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum two years of related experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Willingness to follow all safety procedures and site policies
  • Must be able to be on call after hours and weekends

Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed in a variety of settings.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and at times subject to stooping, crawling, and climbing.
  • Routine exposure to hazardous chemicals, inclement weather, and/or varying temperatures.
  • May need to lift heavy objects of up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.

Will consider employees who apply if they meet the position's minimum criteria, have held their current position for at least 6 months and were not subject to disciplinary action in the past year.
