Responsibilities
Design and implement VMware NSX-T / NSX-V network virtualization solutions
Architect micro-segmentation and zero-trust network security
Deploy logical switching, routing (Tier-0/Tier-1), DFW, NAT, VPN, and load balancing
Lead NSX migrations (NSX-V to NSX-T)
Integrate NSX with vSphere, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Troubleshoot complex network/security issues and perform RCA
Automate deployments using Python, PowerCLI, Terraform, or Ansible
Ensure performance, scalability, and high availability
Collaborate with network, cloud, and security teams
Mentor junior engineers and support solution design/pre-sales (Architect level)
Requirements
8-15+ years of IT experience with strong NSX-T expertise
Hands-on experience with NSX (DFW, routing, VPN, LB, micro-segmentation)
Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN/Geneve)
Experience with VMware stack (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with data center networking (Leaf-Spine architecture)
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) - preferred
VMware certifications (VCP-NV / VCAP / VCDX) - preferred
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
