Job description

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a Program Analyst - Financial Management to support our Government client in Arlington, VA. The Program Analyst - Financial Management will provide administrative and financial support, assisting with budget execution, financial tracking, documentation preparation, and the development of financial reports and presentations.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with federal financial processes, budget execution, financial statement analysis, status-of-funds reporting, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities
  • Process financial documents and transactions using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
  • Review accounting practices to ensure compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations, including the Single Audit Act.
  • Review accounting practices for compliance with generally accepted Government accounting practices and applicable Office of Management and Budget (OMB) circulars.
  • Identify corrective actions related to improper or unauthorized expenditures and accounting of funds.
  • Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
  • Support budget execution throughout the fiscal-year budget cycle.
  • Track and analyze financial information to support effective management of funds.
  • Prepare status-of-funds information and reports for higher-level management.
  • Present financial information and funding status to management.
  • Prepare financial documentation, reports, presentations, and related materials.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to organize, analyze, track, and present financial information.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with budget execution during a fiscal-year budget cycle.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience preparing and presenting status-of-funds information to higher-level management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and similar functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and professionally.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Compensation

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $35.00-$37.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
