Effective use of VLOOKUP can lead to improved efficiency and more informed decision-making across teams, thus making collaboration smoother and more productive.

What is VLOOKUP?

VLOOKUP is a function in Microsoft Excel that allows you to search for a value in the first column of a table and return a value in the same row from another column. It's commonly used to look up and retrieve data from large spreadsheets quickly. VLOOKUP stands for 'vertical lookup,' meaning it searches data vertically across the sheet. This function is especially useful for tasks like matching product IDs with product names, combining data from multiple tables, and automating data analysis.
