Position Overview

Viva Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in Eugene, Oregon. This full-time position primarily focuses on providing crucial mental health services in a remote capacity while also engaging with a school-based environment. As an LCSW, you will work collaboratively with clients suffering from major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, playing an essential role in promoting their mental health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

The LCSW will have a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Providing direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, individual and group therapy, and family counseling.
  • Collaboratively developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each clientโ€™s unique needs.
  • Conducting evidence-based and developmentally appropriate screenings to identify mental health issues and facilitate timely interventions.
  • Assisting in crisis intervention efforts and ensuring safety through risk assessment and management processes.
  • Participating actively in team meetings, contributing to the development and improvement of service delivery practices.
  • Monitoring client engagement and outcomes, including timely completion of documentation and data reporting.
  • Maintaining a healthy caseload while being responsive to client needs and organizational objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with children, adolescents, and families within the school setting, addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. The role requires cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the diverse backgrounds your clients may come from, ensuring that care is equitable and client-centered.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with a focus on collaborative teamwork and effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, and crisis management relevant to the populations served.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will have a competitive edge:

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a social worker or therapist.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and integrated care approaches.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 โ€“ 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
