Team Members are responsible for preparing and serving up our delicious, all-natural, energizing smoothies; as well as, consulting and assisting customers in choosing the right vitamins and nutritional supplements to help them reach their health and fitness goals. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction while following store policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Making custom-blended smoothies the "Smoothie King Way"
  • "FRIENDLY UPSELLING" of our nutritional supplements and vitamins
  • Maintain health and food safety standards
  • Providing guests with information regarding our products
  • Daily work is driven by opening and closing checklists that include cleaning, prepping, and organizing for future shifts
  • Providing the best TOTAL experience to our guests!

Qualifications:

  • Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a "guest comes first" attitude.
  • Energetic and dynamic individuals who are excited about health and fitness
  • Work with staff to accomplish all goals
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
  • Food Service experience preferred but not required
  • Commission Sales experience helpful
  • Must be punctual
  • Ability to think outside the box to satisfy our guests
  • Must effectively plan and manage personal time vs. work time on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Genuine care and understanding for people's needs
  • Must be able to read order tickets to prepare smoothies
  • Prior retail sales experience in the Nutrition/Fitness Industry is a PLUS!
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, grains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety.
