Job Title: Merchandising Assistant

Role Overview:
The Merchandising Assistant supports the Executive Director in the planning, coordination, and execution of product assortments and inventory strategies. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are accurately set up, available, and optimized for sales across all channels. The Merchandising Assistant will collaborate closely with buying, planning, marketing, and operations to maintain product data integrity and support overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of product information, setups, pricing, and promotional details within internal systems.
  • Support the Executive Director with analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, and product performance reports.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting, including sell-through, stock levels, and assortment updates.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, e-commerce, and operations) to ensure timely product launches and promotional activities.
  • Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor communications to ensure on-time receipt of merchandise.
  • Maintain organized sample inventories, prepare samples for meetings, photoshoots, or line reviews.
  • Help create visual merchandising documents, planograms, or presentation materials as needed.
  • Assist with preparation for seasonal line reviews, assortment planning sessions, and executive presentations.
  • Support general administrative tasks, including calendar coordination, file organization, and meeting preparation.

Qualifications:
  • in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Fashion, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, buying, or planning (internships accepted).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and merchandising or ERP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
