Job description

Aime Leon Dore is looking for an Assistant Visual Merchandiser to join the team in New York, reporting directly to the Visual Merchandiser. This position will be responsible for delivering a premium customer experience, a premium employee experience and implementing programs & processes to ensure the successful visual operation of the first London flagship. 

 Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Assist in implementing all visual merchandising strategy at the flagship.
  • Ensuring the strategy is in line with the store's brand, products, calendar and target market. 
  • Assisting in sourcing the props, creative materials, and accessories for displays. 
  • Installing and setting up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays, or supervising contractors hired for this purpose. 
  • Changing displays to promote new product launches or to reflect festive or seasonal themes. 
  • Ensuring uniformity of displays across multiple store locations. 
  • Work closely with Retail/Planning/Merchandising/Ops teams to understand inventory levels and strategy when creating floor sets as well as shop replenishment/send backs. 
  • Have an in-depth understanding of each of our retail locations in terms of high velocity areas, conversion in different areas of the store, etc. 
  • Researching lifestyle and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy. 
  • Helping customers in the store in a professional manner. 

Qualifications 

  • A minimum of 1+ years experience in Visual Merchandising 
  • Experience and ability to lead the delivery of high level customer service 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team 
  • Incredible attention to detail with the ability to interpret data 
  • Ability to work flexible hours for operational needs  
  • Experience in the fashion industry preferred  
  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills as well as good decision-making abilities in high pressure situations 
  • Strong leadership partnered with an outstanding work ethic  

Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
