- Inspecting flexible pipe systems, fittings, and components using approved inspection methods and procedures.
- Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, quality plans, and manufacturing documentation.
- Utilizing monitoring and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and Pi tapes, to verify product conformity.
- Identifying defects and initiating non-conformance reports for products that do not meet specified requirements.
- Supporting corrective and preventive actions by documenting recurring quality issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Verifying the completeness of manufacturing operations, inspection activities, and associated quality records.
- Maintaining inspection records, inspection logs, and calibration records for testing, measurement, monitoring, and detection equipment.
- Working with Baker Hughes quality management systems and databases, including SAP, Oracle, BHOS, Agility, and other related applications.
- Performing specialized testing activities and verifying test results for components and completed assemblies as required.
- Participating in quality audits, root cause investigations, material review boards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve production quality issues and enhance operational performance.
- Driving a strong quality culture throughout the facility by promoting compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Supporting competency development programs and maintaining compliance with established quality management requirements.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Have experience in a Quality Inspection, Quality Technician, or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Have the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures.
- Have experience performing visual and dimensional inspections of products and components.
- Have knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and Pi tapes.
- Have experience identifying defects, documenting findings, and managing non-conformance reporting processes.
- Have familiarity with quality management systems and databases such as SAP, Oracle, BHOS, or similar systems.
- Have strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
