Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Inspector II to support inspection, testing, and documentation activities for commercial products in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for verifying product quality, reviewing technical documentation, conducting inspections throughout the production process, identifying non-conforming materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in quality inspection processes, and knowledgeable in valve manufacturing, GD&T, and quality systems.
Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
  • Verify measurements, testing requirements, and product quality standards.
  • Inspect warehouse picks for part number and quantity accuracy.
  • Review and compile CMTRs, material certifications, and inspection documentation.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Conduct final inspections of assembled control, safety, and safety relief valves.
  • Support MRB activities and help resolve non-conforming material issues.
  • Report quality defects and assist with root cause and corrective action efforts.
  • Verify packaging meets customer and internal requirements.
  • Partner with production and quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Assist with operator training and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Years of Experience and Education
  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical or mechanical education preferred.
  • Experience with control, safety, and safety relief valves preferred.
  • NDE Level II (PT & MT) certification preferred.
