Sky-rocket the success of product launches by designing creative, on-brand graphics.

RUN Studios and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join for an approximate 3-month project! While this is a remote position, RUN Studios can only consider candidates currently residing in the following states at this time: CA, CO, FL, ID, MI, NJ, NY, OR, TX, WA.

The Senior Visual Designer will support design efforts for product launch press events. This role requires excellent fast-paced creative problem solving and precision design execution. In collaboration with creative directors, designers, PR, and agency partners youโ€™ll concept and design on-brand graphics, storyboard motion sequences, and create polished visual assets across print, digital, and scenic environments that communicate product stories with clarity and great aesthetic judgment.

As a Senior Visual Designer, You Will

  • Lead concept development and visual communication design for live keynote events.
  • Develop detailed storyboards and animatics for motion graphics and live-stage sequences; collaborate with motion and broadcast teams to execute.
  • Translate and apply brand systems consistently across all event touchpoints.
  • Direct motion to serve an idea โ€” demonstrating a strong command of motion principles without requiring hands-on animation
  • Create simple, elegant design solutions for communicating technically complex narrative themes at scale.
  • Maintain visual continuity across multiple channels, ensuring assets meet technical requirements for live and recorded presentations.
  • Iterate quickly under tight deadlines; contribute creative direction and present concepts to stakeholders.
  • Provide design QA during rehearsals and on-site to ensure fidelity of visuals in final delivery.

In This Role, You Bring

  • 7+ years professional experience in visual design/visual communication, with demonstrable work across concept development, storyboarding, and motion direction for events or broadcast.
  • Experience designing for product launches or live events.
  • Solid understanding of motion design principles and experience creating clear storyboards/animatics.
  • Strong portfolio showing print and digital graphic design and motion storyboards.
  • Experience working with big tech companies on similar keynote and/or live event presentations.
  • High-level skill across typography, composition, layout, and motion design.
  • Practical knowledge of print production processes, file prep, color management, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Keynote.

Compensation

Pay Range: $65.00 - $90.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidateโ€™s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits:

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
