Bohlin Cywinski Jackson is an internationally recognized, award-winning design firm. Committed to constantly growing and evolving to better serve our clients, each other, and our planet, we bring a holistic approach to architecture, interior design, and planning. 

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with 3-5 years of professional experience for an immediate in-person position in our Seattle studio. Working closely with Seattle studio leadership, the Marketing Lead, and the larger Marketing/Communications team, the Marketing Coordinator will contribute to all aspects of marketing efforts, focusing on new business proposals, qualifications packages, and presentation materials. The Marketing Coordinator role supports marketing and business development efforts across Bohlin Cywinski Jackson’s five studios, located in Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Wilkes-Barre.

Primary Responsibilities

As an active member of the Marketing team, you will:

  • Work closely with Marketing Managers and Senior Staff on the following:
    • Preparing marketing materials for qualifications packages and proposals
    • Creating presentation materials for interviews
    • Participating in the Go/No Go process
    • Researching prospective clients as part of business development efforts
    • Tracking outreach and business development data in Salesforce
    • Creating and updating marketing collateral, including:
      • Resumes and project descriptions (InDesign)
      • Project/client/partner/prospect data (Salesforce)

Overall Firm Responsibilities

In addition to specific Marketing responsibilities, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Establish and maintain relationships across the firm through mentoring, training, and other professional development opportunities
  • Build—or preferably continue to build—AEC industry connections in the local Seattle community
  • Participate and contribute to firmwide discussions and initiatives related to research, design, sustainability, and firm culture

Work Style

This role requires that you:

  • Gain deep understanding of Bohlin Cywinski’s portfolio of work, practice areas, capabilities, and differentiators to craft tailored portions (i.e. resumes, custom narratives, and imagery) of proposal and qualifications documents as well as presentation materials.
  • Can commence work shortly after job acceptance and report in-person in our Seattle studio, an inspiring downtown loft space just steps from Pike Place Market.

Qualifications, Skills, and Interests

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365. A high level of competency in Adobe InDesign is required for this position.
  • Proficiency in graphic design
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM database software) and strong data management skills

Professional Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience; experience in A/E/C industry is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, public relations, graphic design, or a consummate level of skills

Work Style and Hours

  • Ability to commence work in the Seattle, WA studio shortly after job acceptance
  • Are legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
