Job Title: Visual Designer

Job Location: San Francisco, CA/ San Jose, CA

Contract Duration: 12 months


About the job:

As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design.

Experience in design patterns, layout construction, and expressing design systems within Figma.

Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume demonstrating experience in product design and design systems (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.

2 years of experience leading design projects.

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers throughout the design process.

Experience with Android, motion design, and 3D tools.

Ability to take design concepts from drawing board to shipped features.

Responsibilities

Lead design projects across the portfolio of XR devices and experiences, developing user centric solutions within a novel and fast-developing product space.

Communicate designs to build excitement and consensus across teams, and gain support for design strategy across stakeholders.

Deliver design executions that set goals for design and align with brand and established UX patterns.

Partner closely with cross-functional teams to envision, prioritize, develop, prototype, and execute designs.

Build and document design solutions that scale within the XR platform.
