Job description

 Connect has an opportunity for a Software Engineer, Lead to independently formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Independently develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.

· Analyze, define, and document requirements for:

o Data

o Workflow

o Logical processes

o Hardware

o Operating system environment

o Interfaces with other systems

o Internal and external checks

o Controls

o Outputs

· Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.

· Using experience and judgment, develop and maintain plans outlining steps and time tables for developing programs.

· Train end users or technical support staff to use programs.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

· Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer/software engineering, computer science, math, physics, or related scientific discipline.

· Six (6)+ years of professional experience in Python, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic and/or other object oriented languages.

· Demonstrate software development using one or more of these languages under the:

o Unix

o Windows

o Linux, and/or MS-DOS operating systems
