Audiovisual Service Technician The Audiovisual Service Technician will provide end-user training, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to a variety of government customers. This role works closely with AV engineers, AV installation technicians, and other team members to ensure a smooth end-user experience across all AV systems. Position Responsibilities: * Perform onsite AV system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair to ensure high levels of operational readiness * Provide meeting and event support including setup, in-meeting assistance, and post-event breakdown * Perform preventative maintenance and daily AV system checks * Provide technical support to end users in person and by phone * Maintain and update system documentation and troubleshooting guides in Confluence, Jira, or other ticketing systems * Provide AV system user training * Escalate and collaborate with engineering staff on complex troubleshooting and issue resolution * Complete and maintain manufacturer and industry association training certifications; maintain in-depth knowledge of AV products, services, and systems * Attend daily engineering and operations & maintenance meetings * Ensure compliance with change management processes for system updates or changes * Maintain a professional demeanor while troubleshooting issues in high-pressure settings with senior officials Required Qualifications: * Ability to travel to various job sites as needed * Physical requirements: ability to walk continuously, stand 6-8 hours per day, climb ladders up to 15 feet, climb stairs, bend, twist, squat, and kneel for extended periods * Experience installing and troubleshooting audiovisual systems including Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Thinklogical, and similar platforms Desired Qualifications: * AVIXA CTS certification * Manufacturer certifications or experience with Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, or Thinklogical Audiovisual Service Technician The Audiovisual Service Technician will provide end-user training, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to a variety of government customers.
