Job description

Summary: Under the direction of the physical therapist, performs patient care activities in conjunction with the plan of care, including but not limited to; gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercises, modalities and patient education. Documents in medical record. Treats patients of all ages including adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.

Education: Associate Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

Licensure: Licensed in the State of RI as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Access to reliable transportation in order to service off-site locations.

Experience: One year experience preferred.

· Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines

· Proficiency in English grammar, spelling and punctuation
