Job Description

Visa is seeking a passionate, authentic, dynamic and results-oriented leader to join the Finance Systems Strategy (FSS) team, reporting to the Senior Director. FSS is responsible for managing Finance technology and tools and is currently working directly with the Finance Leadership team to design the future architecture and drive the Finance Technology modernization roadmap.

Visa has established a broader Finance Velocity Office (FVO) to build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of our business and improves the day-to-day interactions of our Finance teams. The FSS team works closely with the broader FVO to implement technology to evolve how we work together to achieve meaningful, sustainable change and enable our long-term growth agenda.

The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders across Finance, IT and the broader business to understand needs, identify improvement opportunities to develop and execute on the roadmap to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function.

Responsibilities and key success criteria:

  • Translating finance vision for the future into a world-class technology end-state architecture, with applications like Oracle fusion ERP and EPM
  • Implemented at least 1 Oracle ERP fusion cloud with multiple modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables)
  • Focused experience in Project Costing module within ERP application
  • Drove process and system modernization across the Project Costing lifecycle, including project setup, cost capture, allocations/burdening, adjustments, accounting, and close.
  • Owned functional design and requirements, translating finance and accounting needs into scalable Project Costing solutions aligned to target architecture.
  • Led integration design and execution across Project Costing, Procurement/AP, Time & Expense, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger to ensure accurate cost flow and accounting outcomes.
  • Managed delivery using Agile methodologies and Jira, providing clear, data driven leadership updates with proactive risk, dependency, and mitigation management.
  • Support development and execution of major initiatives in Project Costing, Fixed assets and General Ledger
  • Develop compelling business cases and use cases as needed to support speedy decisioning by Finance Leadership.
  • Work closely with Technology partners on the day-to-day execution of roadmap initiatives and ongoing BAU (Fixes, Enhancements)
  • Strategic and forward-looking thinking with a tendency for looking at issues in a holistic manner.
  • Experience overseeing large, complex, global transformations with a bias for action.
  • Work successfully in a matrixed environment, with an ability to influence without authority and instead use subject matter expertise and facts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD)Preferred Qualifications 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD 12 or more years of work experience In Oracle ERP and Project Costing and Financials , Implementation experience in Oracle Cloud is preferred , with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

The estimated salary range for this positionis $170,700.00 to $ 273,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
