Job Description

Visa's Value-Added Services (VAS) division is one of the three core revenue growth drivers for the company. VAS enables Visa's clients to deliver secure, reliable and convenient payments experiences for their customers.

The North America (NA) VAS - Issuing Solutions team is accountable for the financial and operational performance of Issuing Solutions across the region, with a growing focus on our Data Products (e.g., Visa Analytics Platform). In this role, the Senior Manager will help drive solution strategy across VAS in North America, contributing to the story of how Visa's Data Products and broader VAS offerings come together to solve client needs and use cases. The Senior Manager will work with Global Product to help inform the development roadmap and with Regional Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to help bring solutions to market. Day to day, the Senior Manager will help gather market insights, intake and triage client needs, coordinate roadmaps, and represent the voice of the customer across ongoing go-to-market efforts. This position is based in San Francisco with no travel expected, and reports to the Senior Director, Issuing Solutions for North America.

Job Description

The Senior Manager will support the Senior Director of NA Issuing Solutions across a range of product strategy, solutioning, commercialization, and planning activities, with a particular emphasis on our Data Products (e.g., Visa Analytics Platform) and solution strategy across VAS in North America. Time spent in each area will shift based on business priorities. The Senior Manager will help drive workstreams within key strategic initiatives (e.g., product roadmap development, voice-of-customer insights, data-driven client segmentation, and solution proposals for client opportunities) and help ensure the North America VAS leadership team has the data and insights needed to meet its growth imperatives.

Strong candidates are versatile team-players who learn fast, have high EQ and IQ, and carry a demonstrated record of driving workstreams.

What we expect of you day-to-day:

Support solution strategy for VAS in North America, with a particular focus on Data Products (e.g., Visa Analytics Platform), tied to the multi-year strategy for the business and accounting for regional nuances (e.g., issuer landscape, fintech ecosystem, and opportunities for growth)

o Help perform client segmentation and prioritization using data-driven insights, size and qualify opportunities, and provide analytical support to cross-functional and regional teams

o Conduct market research and help develop business cases to inform prioritization decisions

Support product roadmap development for NA VAS: apply core product management practices to help build and maintain roadmaps, and work with Global Product to help inform the development roadmap, including:

o Collecting and synthesizing voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback so the customer perspective is represented throughout the roadmap

o Helping prioritize features and enhancements based on customer and seller feedback, weighing client value, seller needs, and business impact

o Serving as an intake channel for sales and client requests, translating them into clear product requirements

Work with Regional Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to help build, execute, and monitor go-to-market motions that make solutions easy to sell and easy to buy, including:

o Supporting GTM strategy grounded in client segmentation, market sizing, and competitive landscape analysis

o Helping develop use-case, segment, and client-specific perspectives on solutions that address key client problems

o Informing pricing guidelines with market intelligence

Help develop client-centric solutions built on Data Products and broader VAS, spanning design, implementation, and post-launch optimization, including:

o Supporting sales teams in understanding clients' business and technical needs and defining solutions to meet them

o Linking Data Products and Issuing Solutions with other Visa product domains and client segments (e.g., Acceptance, Risk) to maximize client value

Help manage day-to-day project activities to keep milestones and timelines on track

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Preferred Qualifications:

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry preferred; a background in consulting, banking or advisory services also considered.

Exposure to or experience with product management, including supporting roadmaps, gathering voice-of-customer feedback, and helping prioritize features based on customer and seller input

Ability to lead and manage complex workstreams or small projects independently

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated quantitative rigor

Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools

Attention to detail and the ability to structure and analyze financial, operational, and market data

Outstanding stakeholder management abilities at both senior and junior levels

Strong executive communication and presentation skills. Impeccable written and oral communication

Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible



Information for US Applicants

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
